Two teenaged girls driving down a south side street found a scary sight overnight-a two year old boy sitting alone on a street curb crying.
1200 WOAI news reports the boy was without shoes or a coat with temperatures in the upper 20s.
It happened on West Winnipeg Street, which is off Nogalitos Road.
The girls called police, who started knocking on doors, and found the boy's grandmother two blocks away.
She told officers she had been taking a bath, and left the child in the care of 'someone else.'
Child Protective Services is investigating. They want to know who that 'someone else' is, and how the boy managed to walk out the door and down the street.
So far, no charges have been filed, and the boy is safe and back home.
