William O'Neill, 46, had left his pizza delivery car running in the parking lot of an apartment complex on DeZavala Road last Thursday night to deliver a pizza to a resident.  When he emerged, he found a man sitting in the drivers seat.  The thief ran the Camry into O'Neill, crushing him between his car and another car in the parking lot, and then sped off.

Officer Doug Green told 1200 WOAI news at police headquarters that detectives worked overtime trying to track down this guy.

"The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force and the homicide unit spent countless man hours, and with help from tips from the community, we were able to make the safe apprehension," he said.

Del Cid spat an obscenity at a news reporter as he was being led through the parking lot at police headquarters early this morning.
